Product Introduction
FungiXpert® Fungus (1-3)-β-D-Glucan Detection Kit (Chromogenic Method) is intended for the screening diagnosis of invasive fungal disease. It is used to provide rapid diagnostic reference for clinical invasive fungal infections through quantitative detection of (1-3)-β-D-glucan in the serum and Bronchoalveolar Lavage (BAL) fluid. GCT-110T series are intended for manual operation with microplate reader. GKT-5M/10M are used with our semi-automated instrument MB80 series and fully automated instrument IGL series.

Principle of BDG test
Fungus (1-3)-B-D-Glucan (BDG) is a unique element of fungal cell wall, when the fungus invades blood or deep tissue, BDG can be released from the cell wall.
